A little about me .....
My name is Cathi and I live in the midwest. The picture above and to the left was taken on my first trip to Mt. Rushmore. We were roaming around on his Harley and it was a wonderful trip despite some rainy days. The second picture is one set of twins, whom I call Dot and Spot. Each year, for the last 8 years or so, a doe deposits her youngins in my yard. I can't remember the last time there was a single fawn born. Mind you, I do not live out in a rural area. I live in a suburb so this has often puzzled me as to why they always feel safe in my yard. It's a big yard and very private. I do not feed them but have apple trees. I have to say I love watching them every year. They stay in my yard until mom collects them at dusk. Then fall comes and the bucks start arriving trying to find those cute females.
Certainly life has not been without its struggles, but it most definitely could be worse. I am the mom of four pretty wonderful, healthy children. Life has taken unexpected turns throughout the course and now as I look back, I choose to call them adventures - many happy and others not so much.
I have learned much about relationships over the years. The most important aspect is to learn about yourself. What makes you tick? What can you change about yourself to be happier? I have found that the secret to happiness starts right with you. No one can make you totally happy - it is up to you to change what you don't like about yourself and possibly what others don't find appealing about you too. Life is about change which many people resist. There is a certain amount of comfort in following a path well taken and when things don't go according to plan, well it can be very stressful.
So my words of wisdom to any who are interested, is "love" takes work. It is not a sure thing. If you are hungry to find solutions and willing to work to reach your goal to stay in a relationship/marriage, take a look at what this site has to offer and good luck to you.
